Dentures are prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth and are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Constructed from hard resin materials or metal frameworks, dentures are available as partial or full replacements depending on the number of teeth they are replacing.

We invite you to learn more about the different types of dentures we offer below:
Full Dentures
Used to replace all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Full dentures are held in place by suction and natural muscle tension and can be customised with different tooth shapes, shades, and sizes to create a natural-looking smile.
Partial Dentures
Used to replace one or more missing teeth, partial dentures consist of replacement teeth attached to a base held in place by clasps that attach to the natural teeth. Partial dentures are removable and should be taken out at night.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Used to replace all teeth in the upper or lower jaw, an implant-supported denture is supported by implants rather than the mouth’s soft tissues. Implant-supported dentures are more stable and comfortable than traditional dentures.
Digital Dentures
Digital dentures are the latest advancements in denture technology. Using 3D scanning and printing techniques, we can create more accurate dentures that fit better than traditional ones. Digital dentures also allow us to create custom designs that are not possible with conventional dentures.
Yes, your dentures can be customised to look natural. The teeth’ shape, size, and shade can be customised to create a natural-looking smile.
Dentures should be brushed daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and denture cleanser. You should also rinse your dentures after eating. Dentures should be thoroughly cleaned with an approved cleaning solution when you are not wearing them.
Yes, of course! You can eat with dentures. It may take some time to get used to eating with dentures, but you will eventually be able to eat your favourite foods.
The lifespan of a denture depends on how well it is cared for and how often it is worn. On average, dentures should be replaced every 5-10 years. If you have any concerns about your dentures, we recommend scheduling an appointment with Cindy & Richard.
